Author Eve Dmochowska    Category Events, People, SxSW     Tags

There are about 3 weeks left before a contingency of South Africans hits one of the biggest and best geek conferences in the US: SxSW (South by South West). I am hoping that the group will use this blog to post their experiences, views, opinions etc from SxSW. In the meantime, I thought I’d post a list of who exactly is going. So here it is, in no particular order:

  • Ivo Vegter opinionated journalist ;-)
  • Jack Kruger, heads up digital arm of Old Mutual.
  • Pete Flynn, MD at White Wall Web

  • Gaby Rosario, works with Brandsh and heads up The Story Board
  • Melody Maker, works at Cerebra.
  • Brett Haggard, custom publisher of mags like Connect
  • Toby Shapshak, editor of Stuff magazine
  • Charl Norman, co-founder of Blueworld

Looking forward to seeing some of my favorite South Africans at SXSW! It will be great to get your thoughts on the digital trends out here and how they correlate (and where they don’t) to SA, along with late nights on the RVIP Lounge…
